Once upon a time, Katie sailed the stormy seas of marketing for another agency battling long hours, monstrous workloads, and heaping amounts of anxiety. She made a vow to herself that one day she would create an environment that was both happy and hardworking. Boldog Digital is her fairytale come true, a place where skills meet purpose to create a place we can all feel happy. From the work we do, to the way we interact with one another, life is just way too short to be stressed about marketing.

A message from Katie
Empowerment is at the Root of Everything We Do
I always knew what I owed to the world is being of service to others. From a very young age I struggled deeply with my mental health. If it weren’t for the support of many people, I don’t think I would be here.
So, I have debt to repay to others. One way I pay this forward is by volunteering my time. For the past decade I have volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters as a mentor (one-on-one in school, after school, and Go-Girls group mentoring). Having an opportunity to build confidence in a child who needs it – sign me up for as long as possible.
Volunteering unfortunately does not pay the bills, but it is equally important to me that all my time is spent empowering others – beit my personal relationships and work ones.
When choosing a career path, I knew I needed a way to pay it forward just the same. Empowering business owners, empowering my team, and continuing to empower myself. A straightforward recipe, right?
I once almost gave up in marketing because my previous experience had only ever been disempowering. In various roles I was spread way too thin for pay that was way too low while clients were being charged way too much. I could give up or I could do something about it, I chose the latter. So here I am with over a decade of hard skills and human skills, ready to change the game of marketing for everyone so that we can grow better businesses, better communities, and better individuals. No one gets left behind.
